In the heart of the picturesque village of Nižbor, directly below the beautiful Nižbor Castle, where the forests of Křivoklát meet the river and history, stands a place with soul, a friendly and family atmosphere – Restaurace U Lípy.

Its story began in 1898, when it served as a tavern for the castle brewery. Since then, innkeepers from near and far have come and gone, but each one served beer with a smile. Many stories have been told and thousands of liters of beer have flowed, but one thing has remained: good beer and good food!

Lípa has always been a place where locals, day-trippers, and travelers gathered—whether they were heading to Křivoklát Castle, Zbiroh Castle, or the famous Rückl glassworks in Nižbor

Since 2024, we have been here – with respect for history, but with a new perspective. We have transformed Lipa into a modern industrial restaurant with a clean designthat retains the warmth of the old days. We have given good beer a place of honor and quality food a dignified table.

We cook with our hearts and pour honestly – here you will find the taste of home and a friendly atmosphere that has not faded even after a century. Our goal is for you to relax, eat well, and drink, whether you are a local, a tourist, or just passing through. We take pride in quality ingredients, our selection of beers, and a pleasant atmosphere.
